Sustainability

Climate action is both a moral imperative and an economic opportunity. I’ll build a national strategy for clean energy generation, transmission, workforce development, and research. That means modernizing our grid, reinvesting in agencies and programs like FEMA and the National Weather Service, investing in renewables, and aligning federal procurement with net-zero goals. I’ll also support union jobs in clean-tech industries, work to fund training programs, and incentivize innovation.

A key priority as Representative for the 9th district will be restoring federal funding for Great Lakes preservation and climate resilience, upgrading infrastructure to prevent flooding and contamination, and ensuring frontline communities have a voice in environmental decisions. We must put people, not polluters, at the center of our future.
